Presentation of the project results to the Croatian teachers of Informatics/Computer Science
Martina Holenko Dlab (UNIRI) presented the Coding4Girls project at the national teacher training webinar “Learning and teaching Informatics/Computer science and Technical education in extraordinary circumstances” organized for Croatian teachers of Informatics/Computer Science on 7th of January 2021. The webinar on the Zoom platform was organized by the Croatian Education and Teacher Training Agency and was attended by over 800 teachers from all parts of Croatia and representatives of the Croatian Education and Teacher Training Agency.
Martina Holenko Dlab held a lecture entitled “Teaching programming in extraordinary circumstances: Experiences from the project Coding4Girls”. She presented main objectives of the Coding4Girls project and project activities. The emphasis was on the project results which teachers can use in their teaching practice, including online teaching due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other extraordinary circumstances. The results and experiences gained during the implementation of the project results in Croatian schools (virtual classrooms) were also presented.
